Need to achieve and monitor 40G traffic without replacing entire cabling infrastructure

Large enterprises that have functioned with 1G fiber from servers to tops of tracks (TOR) and 10G fiber from TORs to an aggregator are now upgrading to avoid oversubscription.

Utilize Cisco BiDi Technology for 40G Connectivity 

• BiDi allows network managers to achieve 40G traffic over their existing 10G cable infrastructure.
• Traffic must still be treated as if it comes from 4 different links.
• Garland Technology's 40G-SR BiDi Network TAP will allow you to monitor a network using Cisco's BiDI technology.
• 2 Parallel multi-mode fiber strands are used to transmit the signal bidirectionally.
• Quadruples the speed and allows for cost effective network migration from 10G to 40G.
