Are there any license fees I will owe to open ports or activate features?
No. Licenses are not required for any features of the Advanced Aggregators. All features and ports are active out of the box. There will never be any additional per-port or feature license fees charged by Garland Technology. We will not lock you into future expenditures that were not disclosed upfront.
What can I plug into the SFP+ Ports?
Any copper or fiber MSA compliant SFP+ transceiver will work. We make our products flexible so they work with your network requirements.
Does the GAA10G20AC really fit inside a Fly-away Kit?
Yes! JFL Consulting selected Garland Technology's network TAPs and Advanced Aggregator GAA10G20AC for inside their MACKs (Mobile Air Cyber Kits), ensuring cyber operators can reliably copy network traffic for evidence collection in the field.
The GAA10G20AC was specifically designed to fit inside a rugged, EMP-hardened travel case that meets TSA carry-on dimensions. GAA10G10AC comes with mounting hardware to install it in an open spot (1U) in a rack; alternately, it can be placed on a shelf.
